Having owned and worked in a busy, multi practitioner, city Physio clinic for 25 years I decided there was a niche for a more personalised practice with TIME! No rushing between patients, hearing other patients between curtains or interruptions from receptionists.
My clinic is unique and how I now love to treat. Appointments are an hour apart to allow time to hear your story, work together to decide diagnosis, goals of treatment and outcomes. My large treatment area means there’s space to not only do manual therapy but also exercises with various equipment. I utilise video analysis in the same session if needed.
I have over 30 years of experience as a physio, completing my training in the UK before making the long journey overseas. Since moving to Australia in 1993 I have continued extensive post-grad education to become highly skilled in all the latest evidence based practices including the treatment of sports injuries, back and neck pain and headaches (with or without dizziness).
I have a particular passion for treating soccer injuries being a player and committee member of BTH Raiders for over 15 years.
Including but not limited to, Knee, Ankle, Shoulder, Wrist or Groin injuries.
Back or neck pain as a result of posture, overuse or work-related injuries.
Headaches and/or dizziness caused from stress, muscle tension or posture.
Ensuring that affected muscles or joints can return to normal mobility and strength.
